Description and Orientation plan
Trackage K – 1st stage
The first three model trackages with a labeling K1 - 3 presented a trial version of the whole of the project . They take up the area of 115 m2 and are placed on the first underground floor. These trackages were put in operation on the day of exposition opening on July 1, 2009. They do not represent a specific landscape, these are only fantasies of our modelers. The exception is K3. It does not have a model in real landscape either – it, however, represents a view to a fictitious small Czech town sometime in 1980s, in socialist era.
The Model of the Czech Republic – 2nd phase
The gradually originating trackage representing the Czech Republic is originating step by step in individual regions and in the end it will exceed the area of 900 m2 in one interconnected whole. The area this big is provided by 2nd underground floor of the Kingdom. We opened the first two regions in 2010 – Ústí nad Labem and Karlovy Vary. Pilsen region was opened in 2012 which will be followed by Central Bohemia region and the most complicated region in all aspects the capital Prague . As the last there will be South Bohemia region which will complete the works. Trackage does not correspond to the shapes of our country either as a whole or in individual regions, the more you will be able to enjoy the real sights authentically imitated by our modelers. You will see for example the model of Ještěd, Prague Castle, Labe water way, Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Most and many and many more
